Job description

Job Responsibilities

Receive nursing report for incoming patients from sending facilities
Triage walk-in patients who arrive for assessment
Complete intake assessments
Contact providers to obtain and enter orders
Distribute patient medications as ordered
Provide supervision of patients while awaiting transfer to unit
Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and develop relationships with clinical staff at sending facilities

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
Current North Carolina Driver's License
Current CPR Certification
CPI Certification
At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Experience in psychiatric settings strongly preferred
