Purpose Statement
Wilmington Treatment Center loves our CNAs! This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by supporting daily needs and enhancing the overall well-being of those we serve.
Essential Functions
- Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation
- Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG)
- Performs patient rounds
- Transports patients as requested
- Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant program completion
- Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred
- Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply
- Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
- Current NC Drivers License
