Job description
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom instruction in a one-on-one setting
- Aid students in understanding subject matter and ensure regular classroom routines are followed
- Work with students that have special needs and/or challenging behaviors
- Support instruction to individuals
- Monitor and manage student behaviors
- Model and encourage positive social skills as needed
- Support students through classroom transitions
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in educational settings
