Summary
Performs all laboratory testing and related duties within the assigned sections and provides accurate and timely results.
Job description
Adheres to the assigned department's standard operating procedure, quality assurance policy, regulatory compliance, and hospital policies.
Provides guidance and oversight for department laboratory assistants, including but not limited to conducting training and competency.
Requirements
- Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or equivalent national certification
- Eighteen months of previous experience in an acute care hospital is preferred
