Company overview
Vanscoy Rare Pharmacy is a Pittsburgh-based rare-disease specialty pharmacy founded in 2024 by Dr. Gordon Vanscoy and members of the original PANTHERx founding team. The company operates a rare-disease-only pharmacy model dedicated to supporting orphan and ultra-rare therapy launches that require narrow distribution, intensive patient onboarding, benefit and prior-authorization coordination, affordability support, and high-touch patient follow-up. Vanscoy Rare provides financial navigation, patient assistance programs, quick-start, commercial copay, voucher, and free-drug support for rare-disease programs, along with clinical education and patient-care management through its RarePath platform and V-IMPACT manufacturer reporting tools. The company has established exclusive-distribution launch relationships with major pharmaceutical partners, including Arrowhead for Redemplo in familial chylomicronemia syndrome and Cycle Pharmaceuticals for VENXXIVA in cystinuria. Reporting 50-state licensure, Vanscoy Rare partners with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and rare-disease advocacy groups to deliver a comprehensive, mission-driven approach to patient care in the rare disease space.
