Summary
River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Dietary – Cook/Porter to assist and take direction from the Department Manager and work cooperatively with other personnel while maintaining a high level of quality service. This position is cross trained with duties of a Cook and a Porter in order to contribute to an interactive team environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Ability to read, write and follow written instruction and recipes
- Experience in preparing food in bulk quantities preferred
- Previous experience, preferably in a hospital, hotel or other institutional setting
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Provide service to all populations while demonstrating the Service Excellence Standards
