- Establish design principles, experience requirements, and guide teams with clarity and accuracy.
- Bridge design and engineering by creating functional, coded prototypes and solutions that help de-risk go-to-market, communicate experience intent and explore technical feasibility.
- Work with cross-functional product-development teams, partnering closely with product managers and product owners to define and validate experiences with customers and patients, and with developers to support its implementation.
- Bring key design competencies to the cross-functional team, including workflow assessments, design sprint facilitation, concept development, and creation of a consistent brand experience for our customers via use of the Philips Design language and system.

- A commitment to both code quality and experience quality, with a demonstrated ability to use research and testing to incorporate user feedback into design decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balanced with visual craft and attention to detail.
- Systems thinking: you understand how changes in one part of a product can affect connected devices, apps, and clinical workflows.
