Working closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics, and Global teams, this position will identify evidence gaps and design comprehensive HEOR/RWE programs to support launch readiness, reimbursement, patient access, and long-term value optimization.

The individual will lead development of strategic evidence packages including burden-of-illness studies, natural history studies, comparative effectiveness research, economic models, payer value propositions, AMCP dossiers, value decks, publication plans, and evidence supporting innovative reimbursement and value-based contracting strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HEOR/RWE strategic lead for BMD, DMD, and broader neurology franchise programs.
  • Develop integrated evidence generation plans aligned with clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, market access, and commercial objectives.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure evidence plans support product differentiation, reimbursement, launch readiness, and patient access.
  • Lead HEOR and RWE strategy development for pipeline assets from Phase II through launch and post-launch evidence generation.
  • Develop launch evidence plans, payer evidence strategies, and value communication tools necessary to support market access and successful commercialization.
  • Collaborate with asset teams to identify and close evidence gaps that may impact pricing, reimbursement, payer coverage, and market uptake.
  • Support launch excellence initiatives through strategic planning and evidence generation milestones.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial teams to develop differentiated value narratives for neurology therapies.
  • Establish and maintain high-impact collaborations with external stakeholders, such as clinical experts, healthcare providers, academic institutions, payers, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Represent the company as a scientific leader in relevant scientific meetings, advisory boards, and external partnerships related to RWE and HEOR initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship, scientific leadership, and performance management to 1–2 direct reports and/or external contractors.
  • Promote continuous learning by delivering HEOR/RWE training and capability-building programs to cross-functional teams across global and regional functions.
  • Partner with the Head of HEOR/RWE to develop and scale innovative, technology-enabled approaches to evidence generation and visualization.
  • Drive effective communication and dissemination of HEOR/RWE strategies, results, and implications to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, and Market Access teams.
  • Translate complex scientific and economic findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for HEOR/RWE activities in alignment with solid tumor portfolio priorities.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and contract research organizations to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of HEOR/RWE projects.
  • Oversee compliance with corporate policies, SOPs, legal and regulatory requirements, and relevant external guidelines.
  • Ensure timely measurement and communication of the external and internal impact of HEOR evidence.
