Job Summary

The Work
- Receives and directs internal and external calls. Provides directory assistance and general information as needed.
- Communicates codes, alerts, drills, and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including emergency/disaster management plans. Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
- Operates answering service, beeper and paging systems for contacting internal/external personnel and code teams.
- Maintains desk directories, on-call lists, reference guides, and other associated reference materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatch, switchboard operation, office work, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating a multi-line telephone system is advantageous.
- Strong grammar and spelling skills are necessary for clear communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
