Key Responsibilities

Evaluate non-routine work and proposed controls, resolve complex compliance questions, and advise operational leaders in support of GLP and AAALAC requirements.
  • Contractor, Project, and Change Governance: Establish EHS expectations for high-risk contractor work and independently assess projects, equipment, materials, and process changes before startup. Identify unacceptable risk, require appropriate controls, and elevate significant business or compliance concerns to the accountable leader.
  • Training, Competency, and Engagement Strategy: Determine regional training priorities and competency needs; develop or select appropriate content and delivery methods; and evaluate program effectiveness. Advise site leaders on engagement strategies that strengthen employee participation, reporting, and positive recognition.
  • Multi-Site Program Leadership: Establish and standardize core EHS processes across the three Colorado locations. Develop and own regional EHS procedures and improvement plans, align site practices with corporate expectations, coach leaders, and monitor accountability for timely and effective risk reduction.

Decision Authority and Financial Responsibilities
