Summary
This position is primarily located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in Lehigh County with a day or two spent at our Tunnel Rd practice in Schuylkill. At our Cedar Crest location, there are a total of 21 physicians which include 4 advanced endoscopists, 2 transplant hepatologists, and 4 IBD specialists as well as 6 Physician Assistants and 2 CRNPs. This position does require call. Full time is considered 36 patient facing hours.

Position Overview
This position is primarily located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in Lehigh County with a day or two spent at our Tunnel Rd practice in Schuylkill. At our Cedar Crest location, there are a total of 21 physicians which include 4 advanced endoscopists, 2 transplant hepatologists, and 4 IBD specialists as well as 6 Physician Assistants and 2 CRNPs. This position does require call. Full time is considered 36 patient facing hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- A current Pennsylvania Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
