How Will You Make an Impact?
The Gelatin Associate/Formulation Technician II will be responsible for manufacturing a quality gel material for use in our encapsulation process.
A Day in the Life:
- Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP's, and MSDS memos.
- Weighs raw materials, loads gelatin silos, mix GMRs, Transfer Tio2, and monitor temperatures of GMRs.
- Mix gel for use on production line.
- Train in AGMS (Automated Gelatin Manufacturing System).
- Performs all cleaning duties in area.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.
- Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
- Close and color vision is required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Excellent verbal and written skills
