Job description
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: map existing human resources workflows to find manual bottlenecks in sourcing, recruiting, hiring and onboarding.
- AI Agent and Tool Implementation: Build, test, and refine AI agents and automated solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Claude or similar AI-enabled platforms.
- Data Management: Clean and analyze human resources data sets to support tracking systems and ensure data quality.
- Change Management: help train Talent Acquisition team members on new tech adoption and document system workflows.
- Drive Battelle's AI Vision: we will push the boundaries of artificial intelligence to deliver for our customers, accelerate scientific discovery and advance technologies to do the greatest good for humanity.
- Other related duties and projects as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- Must be currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline, whether that be more technically relevant in Computer Science or Engineering, or domain specific in Business, Human Resources, or Psychology.
- Must have at least one year of college coursework completed.
- Curiosity about data privacy, workflow design, and ethical artificial intelligence use.
- Experience with AI automation tools through coursework or personal projects.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems such as Dayforce) or ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
- Must be a US person according to US export laws.
- Potentially consider adding Dayforce specifically as a plus
