Position Summary
RxSafe / Eyecon is seeking a motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to expand the use of Eyecon pharmacy counting and verification technology and create new opportunities for the broader RxSafe portfolio. This position will spend the majority of its time proactively calling and emailing pharmacies, following up on inbound and marketing leads, conducting virtual discovery and product presentations, and moving qualified Eyecon opportunities through the sales process.
Eyecon is purpose-built for pharmacy workflow and helps pharmacies improve prescription counting accuracy, efficiency, and documentation through visual counting and verification technology. The Inside Sales Representative will become a product expert who can clearly connect Eyecon's capabilities to the day-to-day challenges faced by pharmacy owners, pharmacists, technicians, and managers.
In addition to selling Eyecon, this role will identify pharmacy needs that may be a fit for RxSafe automation solutions, qualify those opportunities, and generate high-quality leads for the RxSafe sales team. This is a fully remote position with no routine customer visits. Success requires a self-starter who is highly organized, persistent, comfortable working independently, and able to create structure and momentum in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Eyecon Sales
- Own the inside sales process for Eyecon opportunities, from initial prospecting and qualification through virtual presentation, quoting, follow-up, negotiation, and close.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls and targeted email outreach to independent, community, and other pharmacy prospects.
- Follow up quickly and consistently on inbound leads, marketing campaigns, trade-show leads, and other sales inquiries.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prescription volume, current counting processes, workflow challenges, business needs, purchasing requirements, and decision-makers.
- Present and demonstrate Eyecon virtually, clearly communicating its value in pharmacy accuracy, efficiency, workflow, visual verification, and documentation.
- Develop quotes, manage follow-up, address objections, and advance qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Achieve established Eyecon revenue, activity, pipeline, and customer acquisition goals.
RxSafe Lead Generation
- Identify customer needs and workflow challenges that may be a fit for RxSafe pharmacy automation solutions.
- Introduce the broader RxSafe product portfolio at a high level and create interest in relevant solutions.
- Qualify, document, and hand off high-quality RxSafe opportunities to the appropriate sales representative.
- Coordinate with the RxSafe sales team to ensure effective lead handoff, follow-up, and visibility into opportunity progression.
Prospecting, Pipeline & CRM Management
- Research and identify prospective pharmacy customers within assigned markets and target segments.
- Maintain a disciplined cadence of phone, email, and virtual follow-up activity.
- Build and manage an organized sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities based on fit, urgency, and likelihood to close.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of contacts, activities, opportunities, next steps, and lead progression within the CRM and company systems.
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership on targeted campaigns, lead follow-up strategies, and new business development initiatives.
Customer & Team Collaboration
- Build credibility and strong relationships with pharmacy owners, pharmacists, technicians, managers, and other decision-makers.
- Respond professionally and confidently to product questions, objections, competitive considerations, and customer concerns.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, implementation, and customer service teams to provide an effective customer experience.
- Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, product education, and team development activities.
Travel & Trade Shows
- Represent RxSafe / Eyecon at approximately five pharmacy industry trade shows per year.
- Engage attendees, demonstrate products, capture and qualify leads, and execute timely post-show follow-up.
- No routine customer-site visits are required; customer interactions are primarily conducted by phone, email, and virtual meetings.
