Summary of the Legal Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our legal team at Axogen for the spring 2027 semester. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance for a dynamic, professional, hands-on experience. This is an opportunity to support and learn from in-house counsel and legal staff about the inner workings of an in-house legal and compliance department in a regulated life sciences company. Working both in-house and in a life-sciences company is a unique and rare opportunity. This internship is based out of our Tampa, FL office.

Project Details

The intern will support with research projects on laws, policy review and revision and implementation of new contract management systems.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; preferably in law or other related major.
Ability to work in the office 15 hours per week during normal business hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Ability to pass a drug screening
Advanced MS Office Suite skills
Passionate about learning about the law and leveraging existing knowledge in pre-law, healthcare or patient advocacy.
