Summary
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs for Resonetics equipment. Additional areas of focus include records keeping, basic troubleshooting, procedural recommendations, supervision of subcontractors performing work on the premises, hazardous waste oversight, assisting with projects for EHS compliance, and housekeeping. This is a hands-on position. The Lead Technician should also propose improvements and coordinate projects with a high level of complexity.

Overview
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs for Resonetics equipment. Additional areas of focus include records keeping, basic troubleshooting, procedural recommendations, supervision of subcontractors performing work on the premises, hazardous waste oversight, assisting with projects for EHS compliance, and housekeeping. This is a hands-on position. The Lead Technician should also propose improvements and coordinate projects with a high level of complexity.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex building repairs
- Oversee contractors
- Hazardous waste management
- Environment Health and Safety activities
- Conduct routine inspections of facility and equipment
- Coordinate with the technicians the priorities and help them to solve problems
- Should have excellent communication with supervisors and Technicians
- Manage and assign the maintenance technicians
- Work with Quality, Production and Supply Chain to ensure shipments are on-time and the applicable KPI's are achieved
- Perform Maintenance technician activities as required
- Coordinate with whoever is applicable (e.g. Production, Planning, Quality) the Product Releasing priorities to ensure compliance with the OTD (On Time Delivery) goal
- Proactively communicating with the Supervisor as issues related to maintenance or personnel performance arise
- Encourage all members of the maintenance technician Team to stay on task and consistently meet quality and throughput goals
- Keep workers supplied with material, tools, spares and supplies necessary to complete work tasks
- As a Group Leader, communicates worker performance as such would be related to quality/quantity aspects to allow for proper recognition of work evaluations
- Other duties as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Minimum a high school education
- 5-8 years' experience in maintenance support
- Strong time management
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a small, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated flexibility
- Knowledge in Microsoft office package
- Auto Cad – Solid words knowledge
- Design skills for improvements
Physical Demands
- Ability to work long and/or off hours to support the Company's
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds unassisted
