Job description
Covenant Place is seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support building maintenance, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, work orders, and general facility repairs. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, and keeping a community safe, functional, and comfortable, we'd love to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
- Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
- Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
- Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner.
- Assists in removal of trash and debris.
- Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
- Moves furniture as directed.
- Maintains lighting in working order.
- Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Constructs, repairs and maintains structures; such as, equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions.
- Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
- Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment.
- Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
Requirements

- Proficiency in HVAC systems
- Proficiency in plumbing
