Job description
Responsibilities
Exhibitions and events
- Assist with the planning, logistics, and execution of in-person (e.g., scientific conferences, trade shows, sponsored symposia)
- Liaise with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage deadlines, deliverables, and budgets
- Coordinate booth materials, shipping, promotional items, and collateral
- Support pre-event planning (registration, booth bookings, accommodation, travel) and post-event follow-up
- Maintain the events calendar and ensure accurate reporting of ROI and KPIs
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team (meeting scheduling, expense tracking, purchase orders)
- Maintain marketing databases (CRM updates, event contact lists)
- Support cross-functional collaboration with sales and product teams
- Assisting in ensuring that all ensuing projects are completed within the given timescale and budget
- Track and organize marketing assets (presentations, banners, flyers, giveaways)
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS or higher degree in biology, genetics, or related major field (preferred)
- Marketing experience (2+ years) or marketing degree
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel/Google sheets (essential)
- Adaptable and consistent with strong attention to detail
- Excellent in time management and task prioritization
- Graphic design experience is a plus
