Summary
The Medical Animation team in Naples, Florida is responsible for visually communicating the science behind the medical technology created at Arthrex. We are seeking an intern who is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Animation to join our Medical Animation team.
Job description
Main Objective
To gain real-world experience creating 3D models and animation content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in training sessions to develop an understanding of surgical techniques, product demonstrations, camera movements, and medical product animations.
- Create animation content by contributing to all stages of the 3D animation pipeline, from concept development through final production.
- Assist in the creation of both organic and hard-surface 3D models, including the development of associated textures and materials.
- Support the animation team in designing, building, and optimizing interactive environments within Unreal Engine.
Education and Experience
- Progress towards a college degree in Animation required.
- A college junior or above required. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Maya required.
- Experience with ZBrush, 3D Substance Painter or other 3D technologies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy is preferred.
- Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
