Company overview
GWR Medical, Inc. is a privately held medical device company founded in 1996 and headquartered in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The company is a leading national provider of FDA-cleared Topical Oxygen Therapy (TO2™), a treatment for healing hard-to-heal open wounds and burns, including diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, amputations, and frostbite. GWR's therapy is delivered through its FDA-cleared devices, such as the O2 Boot and O2 Sacral, and is used primarily as a home-based therapy to improve patient quality of life and outcomes. The company complements its devices with WoundMatrix, a proprietary mobile wound management imaging and measurement software that digitally measures wounds, documents healing progress, and generates outcome reports for physicians and insurers. GWR Medical serves the Department of Defense, Veterans Administration, private insurers, state Medicaid programs, and workers' compensation programs. With roughly 28 employees, the company operates a B2B model combining hardware sales, government contracts, and remote patient monitoring.
