Job description
Your Role
- Monitor and respond to the mobile crisis line
- Provide triage, crisis counseling, information, and referrals via phone
- Conduct face-to-face level-of-care assessments in a team setting
- Deliver in-person crisis counseling and develop crisis plans
- Process involuntary commitment applications and coordinate emergency psychiatric evaluations as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing, or counseling; or be a registered nurse
- At least two years of experience in human services, with one year in direct mental health care
- Valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR systems preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation
