Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care
- Perform diagnostics and examinations
- Integrate wellness and support services for patients and families
- Manage medications and treatment plans for headache and migraine patients
Requirements
- Active New York State license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner free from any restrictions
- Experienced or newly graduated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a strong desire to develop expertise in a subspecialty
- Solid understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
- Broad knowledge of common and specialty medications, side effects, and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medical standard methodologies
- Respect for patient's confidentiality
Additional Details
- No hospital requirement
- No on call requirement for this clinic
- No weekends
- Support staff structure including dedicated Clinic Director, reception, medical assistants, checkout, billing, prior authorization, and rooming
- CME allowance provided annually
- Additional education opportunities including APP Rounds, periodic EMR/Coding/Billing reviews
