Company overview

Pharvaris is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel, oral bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists for the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) and other bradykinin-mediated diseases. The company's lead product candidate, deucrictibant, is an oral, small molecule B2 receptor antagonist designed to provide both on-demand treatment and prophylactic prevention of HAE attacks. Pharvaris leverages its expertise in bradykinin biology to address the significant unmet medical needs in HAE, a rare genetic disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of severe swelling in various body parts. The company's innovative approach aims to offer patients a convenient oral alternative to current injectable therapies, potentially improving treatment adherence and quality of life. Pharvaris operates with a strategic focus on advancing its clinical development programs through rigorous scientific research and clinical trials, positioning itself as a promising player in the rare disease pharmaceutical space.
