Postdoctoral Researcher
Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES)
Summary
The Postdoctoral Researcher will perform research on the experimental measurement and analysis of dissolution/precipitation kinetics of cementitious components and the rheological properties, reaction rates, and mechanical property development of novel materials for 3D printing of cementitious materials. Requires theoretical knowledge of the thermodynamics and kinetics of phase transformations. Knowledge of inorganic chemistry, especially cement chemistry, is strongly preferred, as well as a background in experimental thermal methods, rheological metrology, and microscopy. An emphasis on publication of research results and development of new ideas for research funding. Also involves responsibility for care and oversight of lab operations, including guiding graduate and undergraduate students in their research.
