Job description

Role Summary

As Principal Product Manager for Enterprise Operations & Facility Systems, you will own the product strategy and digital roadmap for the core platforms that power DaVita’s 2,800+ physical locations and multi-site operational infrastructure (including Genesis facility services, PRISM procurement, and contracting systems). Partnering closely with senior executives across Real Estate, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Finance, you will lead high-impact product discovery to streamline location master data, asset tracking, and commercial workflows—bringing a strategic, finance-minded approach to scaling enterprise platform systems.

You will lead product strategy and execution for DaVita’s Corporate Systems and Atlas Digital Transformation platforms—partnering closely with business and enterprise function leaders across the Village to identify the right problems to solve, run rigorous discovery and research, and deliver simple, high-impact digital solutions that streamline operations and elevate the teammate experience. This role is equal parts product discovery leader, strategic advisor, and outcomes owner, operating with a human-centered mindset, strong business architecture acumen, and cross-functional leadership across complex enterprise platforms.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

Own the Product Direction and Outcomes

  • Set a clear product vision and strategy for Corporate Systems within the Atlas ecosystem, aligned to business Multi-Year Objectives (MYOs) and measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DaVita’s core operational, facility, and procurement platforms (including Genesis facility services, PRISM procurement, and contracting/CLM ecosystems).
  • Build and maintain a transparent roadmap connecting enterprise business lane goals to prioritized product work (what we will do—and what we won’t do).
  • Define success metrics, establish measurement plans, and leverage data and continuous user feedback to calibrate priorities over time.

Lead Discovery the "Right Way" (Research, Design, Problem Framing)

  • Partner with UX/Design, engineering, and corporate business stakeholders to deeply understand user workflows, operational pain points, and systemic root causes (moving beyond reactive feature requests to true problem discovery).
  • Run discovery activities including end-user shadowing, workflow observation, journey mapping, hypothesis testing, and rapid validation experiments.
  • Facilitate structured working sessions and design workshops that produce clear decisions, trade-offs, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Lead continuous, human-centered product discovery to identify high-value opportunities, moving beyond tactical feature requests and project execution to solve root-cause operational inefficiencies.

Be an Objective Strategic Partner Across Corporate Functions

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across corporate business leadership and adjacent partners (including IT/Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement, People Services, Legal, Compliance, and Change Management).
  • Bring an "outside-in" perspective—industry best practices, modern product thinking, and user empathy—to help leaders solve the most impactful strategic problems, not just the loudest ones.
  • Create clarity in ambiguous spaces: align stakeholders on the "why," define what good looks like, and drive consensus and decision-making forward.

Drive Delivery Through Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, solutions architecture, integration teams, and external technology vendors to translate validated problems into clear product requirements, user stories, sequencing, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Own backlog prioritization and trade-offs, keeping delivery squads focused on measurable business outcomes rather than output volume.
  • Lead end-to-end launch readiness: change enablement, operational job aids/training, rollout communications, feedback loops, and post-launch adoption measurement.

Governance, Investment, and Operational Rigor

  • Manage product operating rhythms: quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, portfolio progress reporting, and executive steering updates.
  • Lead investment and value conversations for your product area, including business case development, benefit sizing, capacity alignment, and trade-off analysis.

What Success Looks Like (Simple, Measurable)

  • Strategic Partnership: Business lane leaders consistently say: "This team helps us solve the right problems and gets us to measurable business outcomes faster."
  • Operational Impact: Corporate system and platform enhancements measurably reduce friction, streamline critical workflows, and improve the teammate experience (tracked via agreed OKRs/KPIs).
  • Clarity & Transparency: The Atlas product roadmap is focused, prioritized, and transparent—teams and executive leaders can clearly articulate what is being delivered and why, in plain language.
  • Optimize Spend & Commercial Workflows: Champion product solutions that modernize contract lifecycle management (CLM), source-to-pay (S2P), and vendor management workflows to capture cost efficiencies and streamline teammate operations.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in product management (or closely related product leadership), including substantial experience leading product discovery and delivering meaningful enterprise product outcomes.

  • Demonstrated strength in problem framing, prioritization, stakeholder management, executive influence, and clear communication.
  • Proven experience designing and facilitating structured working sessions, journey mapping, and workshops that yield actionable decisions.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise data flows, integrations, and workflow automation across distributed multi-site operations.

Preferred
