Company overview
X-Chem is a data-driven drug discovery company specializing in innovative small molecule discovery through DNA-encoded library (DEL) technology. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, the company synergizes DEL screening, discovery chemistry, and artificial intelligence to provide pharmaceutical and biotech companies with complete solutions for challenging therapeutic targets. With an impressive 80% success rate in identifying functional hits and approximately 100 programs licensed, X-Chem has established itself as a leader in early-stage drug discovery. The company's proprietary library contains over 15 billion compounds, making it one of the most extensive and proven DEL platforms in the industry. X-Chem works closely with partners at any stage of early drug discovery, including screen-to-hit, hit-to-lead, lead optimization, and candidate identification. Their ArtemisAI software platform and chemomics approach transform DEL data into quantitative maps of target structure and function, helping discovery teams make more informed, data-grounded decisions. With operations in the US, Canada, Hungary, and the UK, X-Chem serves a global client base committed to advancing novel therapies to improve human health.
