Company overview

Resonant Inc., operating as a Murata Company, is a leading semiconductor technology firm specializing in radio frequency (RF) filter solutions for next-generation wireless networks. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, the company has developed a robust intellectual property platform that connects people and devices through advanced RF front-end technologies. Resonant's innovative XBAR technology represents the world's first resonator specifically designed to meet the demanding technical requirements of high-frequency and wide bandwidth applications, including 5G, Wi-Fi, and ultra-wideband (UWB) networks. The company's proprietary Infinite Synthesized Network (ISN) software platform enables technologists to create complex RF filters in significantly less time compared to traditional design tools, addressing critical market constraints in designer efficiency and production capacity. With over 415 issued and pending patents, including more than 265 protecting their XBAR technology, Resonant has established itself as a key player in transforming the RF front-end supply chain for mobile devices, automotive systems, medical equipment, and IoT applications. The company's strategic partnership with Murata Manufacturing, the world's largest RF filter manufacturer, further strengthens its market position and manufacturing capabilities.
