Company overview

ViewRay Systems, Inc. is a privately held medical device company headquartered in Oakwood Village, Ohio, that designs, manufactures, and markets the MRIdian A3i Radiation Therapy System. The MRIdian platform integrates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology, radiation delivery, and proprietary software to visualize soft tissue clearly, shape radiation doses to accommodate anatomical changes, and target tumors precisely using real-time tracking throughout treatment. This MRI-guided radiation therapy (MRgRT) approach enables on-table adaptive planning, allowing clinicians to adjust treatment in real time while reducing radiation exposure to nearby healthy tissue compared to conventional therapies. The system is designed to fit into standard radiation therapy vaults without structural modification. ViewRay's technology supports treatment of cancers including pancreatic, prostate, breast, and brain tumors, and is used by leading cancer centers such as Henry Ford Health and Miami Cancer Institute. The company employs approximately 85 people and continues to expand its clinical and commercial footprint in the oncology market.
