Company overview
Biorce is a pioneering Barcelona-based health AI company that specializes in applying artificial intelligence to revolutionize clinical trial design and execution. Founded in 2024, the company has rapidly emerged as a key player in the clinical trial technology space, developing Aika, the first explainable AI-native platform purpose-built for clinical protocol design. Biorce's platform leverages data from over 1 million real clinical trials to help pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs design smarter protocols faster while reducing costly amendments. The company's technology addresses critical industry challenges, including protocol amendments that typically cost between €500,000 and €1 million each and delay patient recruitment by an average of six weeks. Biorce has demonstrated impressive growth, raising over $60 million in funding, including a recent $52.5 million Series A round led by DST Global Partners. With operations spanning Spain, the UK, Nordics, and expanding into the US with a new R&D hub in Austin, Texas, Biorce aims to grow its team to 250 employees by the end of 2026. The company's mission is to accelerate clinical trials by up to 50%, saving sponsors millions while bringing life-saving treatments to patients faster through transparent, data-driven AI solutions.
