The value you add
- Develop new business across Washington, Oregon and Northern California, building a pipeline in a territory that has had limited commercial coverage.
- Build relationships with oncologists, pathology teams and C-suite stakeholders to understand their clinical and institutional priorities.
- Explain the value of SOPHiA's genomic solutions in the context of a partner's testing workflows, existing capabilities and needs.
- Work with subject-matter experts to address technical questions about sequencing, bioinformatics and how testing leads to a report.
- Convert opportunities into bookings and grow the territory's commercial presence.
Requirements
- A demonstrated sales track record in oncology or molecular diagnostics, with a foundation in oncology biology and the clinical purpose of genomic testing.
- An understanding of DNA and RNA, relevant biomarkers such as EGFR and KRAS, and why oncologists use testing to inform treatment decisions.
- The ability to have credible conversations with oncologists and senior institutional decision-makers, as well as laboratory and pathology stakeholders.
- The ability to connect a genomic solution's capabilities to the needs of the institution buying it.
