Company overview
BPGbio, Inc. is a leading biology-first AI-powered clinical stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in the greater Boston area, Massachusetts. The company focuses on mitochondrial biology and protein homeostasis, with a deep pipeline of AI-developed therapeutics spanning oncology, rare diseases, and neurology, including several candidates in late-stage clinical trials. BPGbio's novel approach is underpinned by NAi, its proprietary Interrogative Biology Platform, which is protected by over 500 US and international patents. The platform integrates one of the world's largest clinically annotated non-governmental biobanks with longitudinal samples, purpose-built Bayesian AI software, and exclusive access to the Frontier supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory—the most powerful supercomputer in the world. By combining biology, multi-modal data, and AI, BPGbio is redefining how patient biology can be modeled to accelerate and de-risk drug discovery. The company's lead drug candidate, BPM31510, has received FDA Rare Pediatric Disease Designation for Primary Coenzyme Q10 Deficiency and Epidermolysis Bullosa, and is advancing in multiple clinical trials for conditions including glioblastoma, pancreatic cancer, and sarcopenia.
