Company overview
Imricor Medical Systems Inc is a pioneering medical device company specializing in MRI-guided technology for cardiac ablation procedures. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Burnsville, Minnesota, the company is dedicated to advancing the electrophysiology field by enabling physicians to perform cardiac ablation procedures in interventional magnetic resonance (iCMR) labs. Imricor has developed the first and only comprehensive suite of products designed specifically for use in iCMR environments, leveraging the superior soft tissue imaging capabilities of MRI to improve procedure outcomes and patient safety. The company's innovative product portfolio includes the Advantage-MR EP Recorder/Stimulator System, Vision-MR Ablation Catheter, and Vision-MR Dispersive Electrode. These MRI-compatible devices work together to create a complete solution for performing complex cardiac ablation procedures while patients are inside MRI scanners. This revolutionary approach allows physicians to visualize soft tissue in real-time during procedures, providing unprecedented precision and reducing radiation exposure compared to traditional X-ray guided methods. Imricor's technology has achieved significant medical milestones, including the world's first in-human ischemic VT ablation successfully performed in iCMR at Amsterdam UMC. The company operates globally, with maximum revenue generated from Europe, followed by the Middle East and the United States. As a publicly traded company on the Australian Securities Exchange, Imricor continues to push the boundaries of medical innovation, transforming cardiac electrophysiology through its groundbreaking MRI-guided solutions.
