Company overview

Triveni Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering a genetics-informed precision medicine approach to develop functional antibodies for the treatment of immunological and inflammatory (I&I) disorders. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, the company leverages advanced antibody engineering to build first-in-class therapeutics that aim to redefine treatment paradigms for complex diseases. Triveni's lead asset, TRIV-509, is a dual-specific monoclonal antibody targeting kallikreins 5 and 7 for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, currently in Phase 2 clinical trials. The company's approach establishes proof-of-concept at the earliest stages of drug development by combining human genetics insights with mechanistic biology to identify novel targets and develop precision medicines. Triveni Bio has raised significant funding, including a $115 million Series B round in 2024, and has been recognized as a Fierce 15 biotech company for its innovative approach to addressing unmet medical needs in dermatology and immunology.
