Senior Value Stream Manager - PVH
Medtronic
Summary
The Senior Value Stream Manager will join the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operations team and own the end-to-end performance of an assigned portfolio of product value streams. You'll connect suppliers, manufacturing sites, sterilization, distribution, and commercial demand so the network runs as one system. The role creates clear accountability across the network, improves supply continuity and service, expands gross margin, and shapes the long-term operating model for the portfolio.
Job description
You'll be the primary Operations interface between the PVH Operating Unit, Global Operations and Supply Chain, internal manufacturing sites, and external manufacturing partners. You'll turn business priorities into an integrated five-year value-stream roadmap and bring cross-functional teams together to deliver measurable outcomes for patients, customers, and the business.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end operational health, performance, and strategic direction of assigned PVH value streams.
- Ensure seamless flow from supplier through manufacturing, sterilization, distribution, and customer delivery.
- Proactively identify risks, drive cross-functional alignment, and deliver sustainable improvements in service, cost, inventory, supply continuity, and margin.
- Lead the operating mechanisms that connect the Operating Unit, manufacturing sites, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Lifecycle Management, and New Product Development.
- Lead end-to-end value-stream mapping and future-state design using the Medtronic Performance System and Lean principles to reduce waste, lead time, complexity, and operating cost.
- Build and govern a prioritized portfolio of cost-down, margin-expansion, capacity, reliability, inventory, and network-optimization initiatives with clear owners, milestones, resources, and financial outcomes.
- Partner with Product Lifecycle Management and Marketing to define product rationalization, phase-in/phase-out, and discontinuation roadmaps while protecting customers and minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate the operations transition of new products and major released-product changes into stable post-market supply, ensuring manufacturing readiness, scalable capacity, and effective handoffs.
The successful candidate will have
- 5+ years leading people, programs, or cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end supply, manufacturing, or product value streams in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem solving, risk mitigation, prioritization, and execution across multiple sites and functions.
- Experience translating strategy into a multi-year roadmap, portfolio of initiatives, operating metrics, and governance.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including cost, inventory, capacity, and margin trade-offs.
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively from working teams through senior and executive leadership.
