Job description

Why this role exists

We're looking for a social media manager who can own the day-to-day voice of U.S. Henry Schein Dental across every major platform. You'll set the strategy, make the content, talk with the community, and show us (with real numbers) what it's doing for the business. You'll work hand in hand with our Corporate Communications team.

What you'll actually do

  • Own the organic social strategy for U.S. Henry Schein Dental: set the KPIs, size up the competition, and tie it all back to real business goals.
  • Keep a pulse on platform changes, algorithm shifts and what audiences are responding to, and turn that into best practices.
  • Line up with Corporate Communications on corporate brand, reputation, enterprise stories, advocacy, and executive voice.
  • Write, design, shoot and edit short social-first posts, graphics and short-form video yourself, partnering with creative resources when needed.
  • Run the publishing cadence across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
  • Build and run a shared content calendar with Corporate Communications.
  • Use AI tools to speed up ideation, drafting, and workflow.
  • Be in the comments, DMs and mentions, responding quickly and on brand.
  • Find, manage, and measure influencer and brand ambassador partnerships.
  • Track reach, engagement, follower growth and conversions, then turn the numbers into clear recommendations.
  • Use social listening tools to keep a read on brand sentiment and catch trends early.
  • Partner with the Paid Media team so organic and paid work together.
  • Run escalation protocols for sensitive interactions and follow social governance standards.
  • Team up with marketing, sales, creative, and Corporate Communications on integrated campaigns.

You might be a fit if you...

  • Know the platforms inside and out.
  • Know your toolkit: Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar; Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and TikTok Ads.
  • Write like a human with sharp, scroll-stopping copy; handy in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar; comfortable shooting and editing short-form video.
  • Fluent in social analytics, Google Analytics and UTM tracking; understand social SEO; used listening tools like Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or Mention.
  • Understand paid media, content marketing and SEO, and know FTC disclosure rules and platform ad policies.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to brainstorm, draft and work smarter.
  • Great collaborator who builds real relationships across teams and levels.
  • Strong planning and project management, independent decision-making, budget management, and confidence presenting ideas.
