Overview

The People Operations team is seeking a high-performing Senior Analyst to drive operational excellence and continuous process improvement across the teammate lifecycle. Partnering closely with teams across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Shared Services, IT, and People Strategy Transformation, we diagnose workflow bottlenecks, redesign core people process, and deliver the data insights leaders need to make sound decisions.

As a Senior Analyst, your role will focus on translating operational needs into data-driven systems, driving process optimization, tracking project milestones, and finding practical ways to improve everyday operations and teammate experience. This role is ideal for a curious, hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with data, managing cross-functional initiatives, and building a strong foundation across the broader People Team.

What You'll Do

Data Analysis

  • Build and maintain recurring reports, analytical models, and self-service dashboards in Excel and Visier.
  • Run ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to spot trends, troubleshoot operational issues, and answer business questions.
  • Summarize data findings into clean, easy-to-read charts and takeaways for People Team leaders.

Project Management

  • Support People Operations projects by building and maintaining work plans, tracking milestones, and following up on action items.
  • Keep cross-functional partners informed with regular project updates and clear meeting recaps.
  • Help identify project roadblocks early and coordinate with team members to keep initiatives on schedule.

Process Optimization

  • Map current workflows across the teammate lifecycle to identify manual steps, pain points, and bottlenecks.
  • Help design and roll out simpler, more efficient processes that improve the teammate experience.
  • Identify everyday operational tasks that can be streamlined, automated, or eliminated.

System Enhancements

  • Partner with HRIS and IT to document business requirements and test new features in platforms like Workday.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate data accuracy before new tools or updates go live.
  • Create simple how-to guides and documentation to help teammates navigate system updates.

Contribute to Team Culture

  • Foster a collaborative, positive working environment.
  • Manage workload and priorities effectively to deliver high-quality work while maintaining balance.
  • Participate in People Team and Villagewide initiatives and events.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, HR Management, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or people/workforce analytics, including hands-on involvement in project coordination, workflow management, and continuous process optimization.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, data modeling, pivot tables, chart building) with a proven track record of handling complex datasets.
  • Tool & System Acumen: Experience with or strong aptitude to quickly master analytics tools (e.g., Visier) and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday data and reporting).
  • Problem Solving and Mindset: Strong attention to detail, natural intellectual curiosity, and a proactive "get things done" mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively translate data insights, project milestones, risks, and process optimization recommendations to both technical and business leadership.
