The Medicine Associate/Sr Formulation Technician will be responsible for manufacturing a quality fill material for use in our encapsulation process.
A Day in the Life
- Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP's, and MSDS memos.
- Retrieve, weigh, identify, mix, and store raw materials.
- Cleans equipment and performs all other cleaning duties in area.
- Manufactures Neat fills/blends, complex batches, document tank vacuum checks and mix fill tanks.
- Produces quality fill material including simple potent compounds for use in our encapsulation department utilizing multiple types of equipment and processes.
- Operate specialized medicine equipment.
- May operate forklift.
- Processes hormone, potent and DEA materials.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
- Preferred: Pallet Jack and Forklift experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.
- Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Close and color vision is required.
