Company overview

ModeX Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative multispecific biologics for cancer and infectious diseases. Founded in 2020 by eminent medical innovators including Gary Nabel and Elias Zerhouni, the company operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of OPKO Health. ModeX's proprietary platforms unite the power of multiple biologics in a single molecule to create multispecific antibodies and vaccines with unprecedented versatility and potency against complex diseases. The company's MSTAR (Synergistic Targeting of Antigens and Receptors) platform enables the development of multispecific antibodies that can engage multiple targets simultaneously, offering enhanced therapeutic efficacy. ModeX's pipeline includes candidates targeting both solid and liquid tumors, as well as several of the world's most pressing viral threats including HIV, COVID-19, and Epstein-Barr virus. The company has established strategic collaborations with industry leaders such as Regeneron and Merck, and has secured significant funding from BARDA for infectious disease programs. Based in Weston, Massachusetts, ModeX employs approximately 51-200 professionals and has advanced multiple candidates into clinical trials, positioning itself as a leader in next-generation multispecific biologic development.
