Telecommuting permitted from home office location anywhere in U.S. Up to 25% U.S. and int'l travel required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT or closely-related field
- 3 years experience in an agronomic, agriscience and/or crop science environment
- Experience using MRMS & AHPS to produce daily precipitation data for business-to-business workflows
- Experience using PRISM, GHCN & ERA5 to review historical weather information and analyze regional temperature data for business-to-consumer workflows
- Designing & implementing REST and GraphQL APIs using Java, Clojure and Scala for deployment on Azure and AWS
- Designing & implementing data-intensive processing software systems for agronomic and geospatial data using Python and GCP BigQuery
- Analyzing planting, soil sampling & harvest data to prepare in-season insights to third-party customers
- Developing GitHub CoPilot AI skills & agents to perform operational maintenance & migration of Java, Clojure and Scala upgrades
