Job description
What you will do
- Lead, coach, and direct packaging team members to ensure alignment with procedures, processes, and cGMP expectations.
- Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the packaging facility to uphold production efficiency.
- Review production schedules and collaborate with the Master Scheduler to support accurate documentation and timely issue resolution.
- Conduct and close quality event investigations, ensuring strong compliance and documentation practices.
- Hire, mentor, and develop employees to build a skilled, engaged packaging team.
- Deliver hands-on technical and cGMP training directly on the shop floor.
- Coordinate indirect material purchases and manage overtime to meet operational needs.
What we are looking for
- Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (minimum 6 years, preferably with oral solid dosage).
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience supervising or directing teams.
- Strong understanding of good manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners such as QA, Project Management, and operations teams.
