As the Tissue Recovery Specialist, you will make an impact by leveraging your expertise, collaboration, and commitment to excellence to help advance our mission of Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. What You Will Do
The role recovers both basic and advanced tissues for transplant and research in accordance with LifeNet Health and client SOPs, performing thorough physical examinations, reviewing medical records, and completing accurate donor chart documentation and quality checks.
- Recover basic and advanced tissues for transplant and research per SOPs
- Perform thorough physical examinations and review medical records
- Complete accurate donor chart documentation and quality checks
- Onboard and precept new recovery staff to ensure compliance
- Order and stock supplies and identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Verify donor authorization documents
- Organize recovery teams and supplies
- Coordinate or perform transport of recovered tissues, blood samples, and cultures
