Job description
About the Role
SprintRay makes the technology behind the world's first capsule-based chairside 3D printing system. The VP of North America Marketing takes everything product commercialization produces — positioning, launch playbooks, clinical evidence, sales tools — and turns it into pipeline, demand, and revenue in the United States and Canada.
You own four things: performance marketing and pipeline generation, events and trade shows, distributor marketing and enablement, and education and KOL programs. The first one is the reason you're here.
What You Own
1. Performance Marketing & Pipeline Generation: You own the number — marketing-qualified leads, demo requests, pipeline contribution, cost per opportunity. You build the digital demand engine using paid digital, SEO/AEO, website conversion, lead scoring, nurture sequences, retargeting, and attribution. You measure everything, kill vanity metrics, and report pipeline contribution to the VP & GM Americas weekly.
2. Events & Trade Shows: You own the full event strategy for SprintRay's own events (3DNext) and major dental trade shows (CDA, ADA, Chicago Midwinter, Greater New York) — which shows to attend, booth experience, converting booth traffic into pipeline, and whether event spend produces downstream revenue. You also own proprietary events from 3DNext to regional demo days to distributor launch events.
3. Distributor Marketing & Enablement: SprintRay sells through distribution partners including Henry Schein, Patterson, Benco, Nobel Biocare, and Straumann. You own the system that makes reps' 90 seconds per office visit count — Campaign-in-a-Box kits, sell sheets, demo scripts, rep training programs, co-marketing campaigns, MDF strategy, and distributor portal content. Your measure is rep adoption rate.
4. Education & KOL Programs: You put clinical evidence in front of dentists through KOL speaker programs, CE courses, university partnerships, peer-to-peer education events, and clinical content. You build the roster of respected clinicians who will advocate for Midas, Foundation, and the Nano Series. Education is a demand channel measured by pipeline.
Rest of World — Interim
North America is your primary scope. In emerging Americas markets — Brazil, Mexico, and others — your team provides interim marketing support: adapting campaigns, supporting distributors, and building the baseline playbook that an eventual in-market team will inherit.
How This Role Connects
VP of Product Commercialization (Global) builds product positioning, launch playbooks, clinical evidence, and sales toolkits. You execute in North America — you decide the how, the where, and the when. You partner with Sales Leadership on the shared pipeline number while owning marketing strategy. Creative & Brand reports to the CPO; you brief it and hold it accountable for deadlines, while campaign strategy, targeting, and conversion are yours.
Who You Are
- You've owned a pipeline number connected to revenue — MQLs, demo requests, pipeline contribution, cost per opportunity — and have diagnosed and fixed funnel leaks.
- You execute at a high level across events, KOL programs, and distributor enablement, holding yourself and your team to an obsessive standard.
- You know how channels work and have worked in or marketed through a distribution model, understanding that the rep is a key customer.
- You move fast and measure everything — spending time in the field, forming a point of view, and fixing issues quickly.
- You're not precious about the work — writing booth copy at 11 PM and reviewing rep training decks on a flight while building the team.
What You Don't Need to Be
- A dental industry veteran — clinical workflow, distributor landscape, and competitive dynamics can be learned in 90 days.
- A brand-first marketer — this role is pipeline-first.
- A global marketer — this is a North America role with temporary ROW support; you need experience dominating a large, mature market through channel distribution.
Why SprintRay
- You own the biggest market — North America is SprintRay's largest revenue region and the most competitive dental technology market.
- The product is real — Midas is FDA-cleared, partnered with global leading materials companies, protected by 200+ patents, with 100,000+ restorations placed.
- The distribution is signed — global partners like Henry Schein, Patterson, Benco, Nobel Biocare, and Straumann.
- The infrastructure is being built around you — a VP of Product Commercialization and a creative studio under the CPO.
- You'll have air cover — reporting to a VP & General Manager with budget authority, hiring authority, and a direct line to decision-makers.
Who This Isn't For
- Global strategists who want to set worldwide brand strategy from 30,000 feet.
- Agency managers who hire agencies for every discipline and manage relationships.
- Slow builders who need six months to assess, align, and plan before anything ships.
Requirements
- Proven track record of owning a pipeline number connected to revenue (MQLs, demo requests, pipeline contribution, cost per opportunity)
- Experience executing high-level events, KOL programs, and distributor enablement
- Experience working in or marketing through a distribution model
- Data-driven approach to marketing with ability to measure and optimize channels
- Ability to move fast, report weekly, and adjust spend monthly
- Willingness to do hands-on work while building the team
- Experience dominating a large, mature market through channel distribution
- Travel ~30–40%
Benefits
- Competitive bonus structure
- Budget authority
- Hiring authority
